Edit documents inside your own product.

Today the public browser component is a read-only viewer. The editor is being built on the same rendering and selection model, so the document a user edits is the same document your server generates.

02 / WHAT COMES NEXT

Work on the document.
Stay in your product.

This is not a promise to reproduce all of Microsoft Word. The goal is to let a product show and change the documents its users need, without sending them to a separate office application.

01

Edit text in place

Users will work directly on the rendered document instead of switching to another application.

02

Select meaningful parts

Text, fields, blocks, tables, rows, and cells will remain separate targets.

03

Use the same document model

The editor will save changes to the document structure, not to screen coordinates.

04

Let the host control saving

Your application will keep control of authorization, versions and persistence.
